Wednesday Night's Out @ The Pump Room

Our company organised beer buzz session @ The Pump Room - where the dance, music, drinks and the crowd are. We reached The Pump Room at around 7.15pm and it was not crowded at that time. Our first stop was the dinner buffet area,we needed to fill our stomachs first before the beer session start.

However, the whole place was jam-packed when reached 8plus. Every table was fully occupied with people toasting drinks and the bar counter was like a warzone - with glasses, jugs and bottles coming in and going out at an eye-popping place. Apparently, The Pump Room was already abuzz way before 10pm but it was still a great experience seeing all those people and of course the live band onstage to entertain the crowd.


All of The Pump Room’s beers are unfiltered, unpasturised, and have no added chemicals or flavours. Giving you the consumer a 100% natural, fresh, flavourful glass of beer everytime. I tried one of their resident handicrafted brew, The Pump Room Lager which is golden, crisp, clean and easy drinking.


I were musing about how drinks can bring out some extreme behaviours in people and most of the time, people get high over drinks for two major reasons - they are either extremely happy or extremely sad. On hindsight, maybe they are just trying to use the liquor to figure out if they are truly happy or sad inside. However, Im sure that everyone enjoy themselves in this beer buzz session. Iron Man (2008) Movie

The movie was quite good, considering how the lead actor (Robert Downey Jr) managed to portray both the confident, high-flying military industrialist, Tony Stark, as well as the reflective, humanistic superhero in disguise. I loved his humour and also the way the movie balanced a gently evasive but subtly romantic relationship with long-time personal assistant Pepper Potts (played by Gwyneth Paltrow).

The experimentation with the Iron Man suit in his laboratory was really funny, especially how he communicates and chides his robotic assistants. The villiany in the story was quite predictable with a profit-oriented uncle versus a transformed and humanitarian Tony Stark and climaxed into a showdown as both slugged it out with their versions of the Iron Man.

Don't forget to pay attention to Tony Stark's speeches in the movie, especially the last one. Very memorable and unique - gives thought to the kind of mayhem and chaos he always throws around whenever he gives speeches.

Hahaha. The 4 star movie is definitely worth watching.

Sometimes I wonder if there really is THE ONE.

I used to be a real sucker for the lovey doveys. But as the years went by, the conception of THE ONE just started fading away into the wilderness.

I suppose sooner or later we'll come to a stage where both friends and relatives start with the questionings of "when's ur turn to get married?"

I'm really sorry but my personal take on this is that "I dont think I will. Why? Because I dont think there's someone out there who loves me that much that he will be willing to commit and devote his life to being with me". Its a sad notion and though everyone chooses to not believe my same belief but rather put their faith in, "dont be ridiculous, you'll definately get hitched", I still dont think so. This belief, I would think, is a contributing factor to me avoiding weddings like the plague.

Even just the last month, whilst I was watching that new TV show, "A Wedding Affair" hosted by hosts Utt and Jaymee Ong, there was this feeling of jealousy dwelling within. Worst still was the feelings that came when I caught "Top 10 Celebrity Weddings" or something like that. They all looked so much in love. Awww. I couldnt bear to watch anymore and switched channels.

Sad right? Yeap. I think so too. But one still has to have contingency planning in the event the worst does form true, hence, its time to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!

最近还是忙碌工作... 但是越来越有挑战性了. 很喜欢自己的工作, 但是难免还是有低潮的时候.在这个时候, 我就有一般很爱护我的家人, 好朋友 与同事.你们知道你是谁啦! 谢谢~地球不断的旋转... 只是活了三分之一, 就体验了生与死, 乐与苦... 我最害怕的是"病". 听到了好友的mummy要动手术, 心理一点不安. 希望身边的人开开心心, 健健康康. 活着一定要精彩, 想做什么, 就去做, 只要不伤害人, 做违背良心的事就好.

Movie: The Leap Year

After watching The Leap Year, sometimes i really wonder what is marriage about? recently always into contacts with wedding magz, videography(animation), wedding dinner, wedding prepz etc. what will my life become if i really get married? *shaKe the idea off my mind*

let's get into the story... to be fair for ppl who want to watch it. I'll grade 3.5/5. Guy might not like the movies, bcos seems quite boring if you're not into love story(marriage) person. but it can be so true that this might happen in the reality. There was a person in my mind when i watch this show. Lilin went crazy over a guy which she can meet once every 4yrs, a totally stranger yet there's somehow a bond in between them. She rather gave up the guy who love her since young & the guy who wants to marry her, that's really need a lot of courage man! Doubt not much ppl can do it. Yeap, go for itz or else you will leave with regret!

My dream of building my family(Is just a dream for me, not in reality bcos weddings is like plague to me!): It'll be the kind where i prepare the dinner for my hubby & children or hubby do the cooking. hee! then weekends, my hubby will bring whole family out for meals. Once a fornight, dont want anyhow spend, hehe! then... must have personal social life, allows me to participate some activities & friends gathering. A Big NO to violence... instead of quarrels, shall analyze de problem & solve it together. Understand everyone has it temper, and it'll be good to have a level of tolerance. The unhappiness mustnt last more than a day. =)

Busy busy busy!!!

Phew...finally got time for me to blog. My schedule have been packed! Busy Busy Busy...hardly hve the time to update my blog..just briefly update the past few weeks events....Busy with quarter end,clubbing,movies,tennis,mahjong,company dinner,wedding..next will be bowling session,movies, a lot more celebration and gathering.

Need to plan time to pamper myself after a busy schedule. I need to trim my hair, appt for a facial spa, pedicure, shopping and have a nice meal with mother(Mother's Day is coming).
