I was raking my brain where to bring CBM and gang for supper - it was a gathering after everyone is available from New Year visiting. Being a Satursday, I wanted somewhere nearby, not crowded and most impt free parking.

This little diner up North is going to put a smile on many faces. It's the latest "Value for Money" diner which has recently opened in Sembawang barely 2 months ago and judging from the quality of the food and the prices, I can only say that it has all the qualities of another Astons in the making.

We loved the free popcorn that we can help ourself to as we are waiting for the food as well as the nachos and fries.

Food is great value and on top of that, there is no GST or service charge. I think this place is poised to do very well.

Chinese New Year

Hahaha...Yeap, it's a long holiday for us! all the working peeps out there, that's all we care about right? forget the angpows.. (ever since we've started working, doncha all feel that our angpow money seems sooo meagre suddenly right? haha) it's really more about the gambling and food! hahaha..

It's going to be officially the new RAT year.

This year, i've decided to stay away from my favourite cny goodie - Because i read from a magazine that the most fattening snack out are all the usual cny goodies!!!!! can't tell right?! blame the coconut content man!

HALL OF CALORIES -
1. he-bi hiam (the sambal prawn cracker rolled in tiny cylinders) <- killer snack, lucky i don't fancy this! hehe..
2. kueh bankit (white, powdery cookie that melts in your mouth)
3. pineapple tarts
4. love letters i can't remm the rest of the list.. but it's enough to strike out a few of my favourite cny snacks this year. :( though i still can't resist love letters haha!
