Time & Love

I personally like this story alot...so though of sharing with u guys...enjoy reading...

Once upon a time, there was an island where all feelings lived:Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others including Love.

One day it was announced to the feelings that the island wouldsink, so all repaired their boats and left. Love was the onlyone who stayed. Love wanted to persevere until the last possible moment.

When the island was almost sinking, Love decided to ask forhelp. Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,"Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you.

"Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel, "Vanity, please help me!" "I can't help you Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked for help, "Sadness, let me Go with you." "Oh...Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!

"Happiness passed by Love too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her!

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you." Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that he even forgot to ask him his name.

When they arrived at dry land, the man went his own way. Love realizing how much he owed the man asked Knowledge, "Who helped me?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered.

"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?

"Knowledge smiled with deep Wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

Too little time and too many things to do!

Haven't blogged for 1 month! That's because life's been busier for me as compared to a few months ago. As we move on, we get busier and busier, and we see lesser and lesser blogs by ourselves. I feel guilty for leaving this website pretty abandoned for quite some time liao. But there's just too little time and too many things to do. Speaking of that, im busy with housekeeping now. So I gotta get back to clear my stuff. Take care! =)

The beancurd-skin stuffed timsum is incredible too, so were most of the other dishes ... We ordered a LOT of food!











There was every conceivable timsum on the menu, and we ordered most of it ... including pork chops!

Time to say goodbye to this scrumptious timsum place ... After something like 50 orders of timsum!!!!

Strictly no marking for the day, we went to Tampines Mall in the afternoon few weeks back.

The best present is my lovely dad agrees to buy a 0.31 Destinee solitare ring for my mum!Initially, my mum was thinking whether to upgrade her 0.22 Destinee solitare ring as the 2-year upgrade is ending soon.So, when we finally chanced upon a 0.31 Destinee which mum and I quite like it, I suddenly held back.

I am never a jewellery person. I don't desire diamonds at all. I don't give a damn about the carat size. To me, a 0.22 Destinee is more than enough. However, to my mum it matters a lot to her.
Even though she hardly even wear it!

So what makes her wanna upgrade it?
I guess it is due to peer influence and the temptation of upgrading a bigger carat without any depreciation value. After trying out various carats, she likes 0.3 the most. Any ring above 0.35 is just too big for her. She don't like the feeling of having such a big carat ring on her small finger lah.Nevertheless, she finds it hard to let go. But that 0.22 Destinee is the ring that my dad gave her as 25th year anniversary gift . This ring has so much sentimental value. How can she just upgrade like that?She rejected his proposal immediately. I comforted her while walking out from the shop.

After dinner at Aijisen, she finally made up her mind to buy the 0.31 Destinee. I were wondering how the mere size difference would matter. After witnessing the comparison, I were convinced that there IS an obvious difference in size. I tried to convince her that it would still be the same ring.

Well, except that it has grown slightly.

"People grow up. So does diamond." (this phrase must be made known to men ... *lol*)

Without further hesitation, my mum bade farewell to her 0.22 Destinee and welcomed 0.31 Destinee.Like what dad said, it's all fated.

Shopping, Shopping & Shopping

This is what I really call 'LIFE'.
For the month of June till now, I've been doing lots of shopping.
Maybe this is the only way to de-stress myself (Excuse for myself.. hahaha)...
How can I resist such mega promotion and good bargain? (And I will face the music of settling incredulous credit card bills in the month of June & July!)

Anger Management Part I

Hmm....kind of funny....My peer seems to feel that I have controlled my temper recently and have noticed a change in me!!! They feel I'm no longer a hotheaded, volatile and rash ger I used to be...lol

Have I really changed?....Hmm...to be honest...I really dunno leh....but recently..maybe bcos I'm blessed with a supportive person around me, someone who always so patience and tolerance towards my stubborn temper...someone that make me smile when i need it most... someone always there for me without any complaints...someone who call me "Ci Xi Empress" .....so my "volcano" has not chance to erupt...lol

Maybe age is catching up...(ya lah..though I'm xx only)....nowadays.....I'm not so easily irritated....maybe got something to do with my life ba!....afterall..I do meet lots of people from all walk of life....so guess I'm more "immuned" to irritating ppl...

But hor...I still cant stand ppl who think they are the best in this world....those who think they are so smart and born with "nature beauty"but in actual fact, achieved nothing at all....gers who think every guy will fight over her...n guys who think every ger cant wait to bed with him! *puke*

Cool down!...lol......must be more cultured...*pui*..wahahaha...guess I'm just what I'm.....I still cant imagine myself trying to act gentle or ger ger....Mum oh mum..u certainly picked the wrong chinese name for mi.....waahahhaa...(oops!!! Dun spank my backside hor!!! Mummy)
