A special gift from a great pal!

Few weeks ago after I came back for my Ku Ching trip, I received a special gift from my great pal. She turn up in one of our gathering for Christmas gift exchange @ Boat Quay... A rare guest for us as she is station oversea due to work commitment. We will have a simple triple celebration for Christmas, December birthday (those frenz birthday which falls in December) and year end celebration. That night is a gd catch up session with most of them as i hardly go out for drinks with them recently.

Surprise!!!

I’m so dead tired today. I was really walking all over the place in my office for today. Things just keep hitting you and you have to settle them. And I was not using my brain.

Luckily I am seeing mark today.He is coming to fetch me home after work... But seriously, I think that he love me more than i love him. He always says that he loves me and his action show..He will try to sms me and say that he misses me no matter how busy he was. I can see that my bf is willing to pay for small little things without prompting from me too.

He is really the guy in this love. Pay for everything like the drinks, meals and etc ...or wait for me during our date, walk me to door step, carry all the heavy stuff and etc... There are so many things that I see in him like his manner of talking and his thoughtfulness.

Love can be such a sweet affair. I really have to work out the best in this moment and in this relationship.

Dad's Birthday- 12 Dec 08

Celebrations of my dad's birthday was on the actual day itself. He wanted to have dinner @ Soup Restaurant so i suggested we went to one of the outlet at Causeway point... I tried my best to knock off at 5.30pm sharp, just for my dad. He is the most important person in my life.. Guess because he makes so much changes in my life. My dad provides the lion's share of income to the family and he will try his best to give me whatever he can. This is the sweetest thing in the world!

Things are not going really well for me in work and my health recently.... Thanks to him that I still get to have my certain time of happiness and enjoyment of life after listening to his songs..

Purpose of a partner

We went to fish prawns last friday which is my day off... Even though the weather is humid but is a good interaction session with him.. Both of us are so busy with work, friends and family... It's a catching up session too...

As usual, he will start a conversation first.....

Nigel: Do you know why you need to have a boyfriend in your life?


Me: Hmm.....Because I need someone that I can lean on his shoulder when im tired.

Nigel: Not only that....You need someone to take care of you (or for you to take care of) or someone to share your life with.

Me: But Im pretty much an independent person, so don't worry.

Nigel: Being independent does not equate to being Ms Know-it-all. Ms Independent is someone who knows how to seek help when she needs one.

Me: “Yessssss”. No wonder you're in sale....

Nigel: How come no prawn eat my bait???

Me: .....(In my heart: They're scared away by your preaching of cos! hahhha)

Total: 7 prawns was caught and all landed in my stomach.... Yummy yummy...

Me: How?
Nigel: Well, I just tune in to her needs and wants and take it from there. I suppose that is exactly the same way to make someone else happy, today and everyday! So I will consider this to be something worth doing and continuing to do.
Me:(Stay calm replied) Really ah, okay loh...(But really melt my heart after hearing this.. shh shh!!!).
